Job Role – Mechanical Maintenance Technician
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all static and rotating mechanical equipment in our facilities.
Responsibilities

Maintain and repair pipelines, pumps, compressors, turbines, hydraulic systems, lifting equipment, valves, vessels, and tanks.

Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement reliability improvements.

Supervise contractors in activities such as lifting, welding, alignment, and equipment repair.

Mentor and guide maintenance personnel and contractors to meet HSSE, plan, KPI, and budget targets.

Maintain and update equipment documentation and technical records.

Use GSAP/CMMS to manage work requests, maintenance planning, and reporting.
-
Support Corrective & Preventive Actions and Management of Change (MOC) processes.

Act as Permit Applicant and Permit Verifier for maintenance activities.

Collaborate with teams, stakeholders, and contractors to deliver safe and efficient operations.
Requirements
-
3–5 years of relevant experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical plant maintenance.

Minimum NITEC certification or equivalent.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
-
Knowledge of SAP (GSAP Maintenance Module) preferred.
-
Field experience with contractor and stakeholder engagement.
-
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in teams.
